Fruit of love is one of the most amazing thing that can happen to a couple and feeling this experience is always a bliss. Being used to shooting weddings this is avery new one for me and I am starting to like it.

Love that was formed between two person is a great thing but having the fruit of that love is much more unexplainable so when this old client called me to shoot them before she gave birth I was thinking I am a wedding photographer, what will I do in front of a pregnant mom? I told them this will be my first time and let us experiment. Everything went out well now that baby is born, a very happy mom and dad, thanks for sharing that experience with us.

Collective Soul

The whole May is a very busy month for the whole MPW crew, some weddings have tight time gaps, and some weddings have no parking but all in all it was a lot of fun. The last gig was May 24th (see sleeping shots on the job photos) and the whole month of June is a breather for the group. To recollect our soul, recollect our artistic thoughts and prevent burn-out. After a couple of weeks rest we are now restless coming up with new ideas, we are excited to make our new offering the "AVP Love Story" it is an engagement photo shoot plus video ala “MTV”. This Sunday the whole crew will be in Long Branch NJ to shoot our first AVP for 2009, and also the first beach shoot for us so let’s see what will come up; we need to be crazy again, stir our brains and recollect the artistic thoughts, kind of Frap with whip cream on top.

Four Weddings & A Photo Booth

We must be doing something right, client numbers are peaking up for 2009, thank you for the dedication and eagerness of our fun-loving crazy group. Words cant explain how fun and exhausting these weddings are, truly different weddings have different flavors. Also it is our first time to introduce our PHOTO BOOTH, client feedback is very welcoming, literally people lined up for their turn on the booth, even the waitress requested for one, who doesn't want to be photographed? From Ogie Alcasid to South Africa

A couple of years ago when MPW was just starting we booked a bride and after booking she called us asking "Can you please sign an agreement form? Because my brother will sing in my wedding and he does not want his photo/ video being used with no authorization?" I said "Of course who is your brother anyway?", "His name is Ogie Alcasid". My excitement was ruined, the brother did not make it to sing on our clients wedding. Then after a year the bride referred us to another couple, we shot their wedding and the groom told us (click the email above) he sent their wedding video to his mom in South Africa which makes her mom cry watching the video. I cannot imagine our video in South Africa, a long way. We are happy that out clients relive their wedding day thru our work.

That was how we described their wedding day, rainy and cloudy. They are from South Jersey and a true "country feel" almost not “Jersey feel”. While driving to their place, we noticed a lot of horses, cows and sheep at the front yard in most houses, but should I say big houses, HGTV houses. The party was wild with the brother of the groom doing BEATBOX while the groom and some friends dance to it ala ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew), boy they got talent.

This garden is a great attraction for people who love flowers, but when we arrived they are all gone, nothing but dead grass. We were lost at first but the photos came out nice.

We are My Pinoy Wedding, after our humble beginning in 2003 in Bayonne NJ, we are very happy in what our group have achieved. We are a group of young individuals who loves to see great and cinematic weddings, and that fantasy is now a reality to our clients. As we always say, "your wedding is our wedding". None among us had a great wedding, some are not even married yet, but we are living the dream, not our wedding dreams though.

We shot this on a very simple technical set up, one light setup (household bulb), on a brick wall near a fireplace during our last MPW anniv party. Creativity is the key to this profile photos, we are not models just trying hard to be, who doesn't one to be just once in your lifetime right? This is our first full gig for 2009 evrything went smooth, no complaints, beautiful (always grinning) bride, nice weather, perfect SDE, nice party and of course good food not only on the dinner party but I think we downed all the sandwiches in the brides room during her preparation.

The SDE is very much different, this bride wants a fast paced SDE so we gave her what she want (isn't that always the case on every wedding? you always give the bride what she wants..always).

Sorry for the title but this SHOWTIME series is addicting, anyways this is our first wedding in the West Coast. We love California except for the darn traffic, weather in CA reminds us of our beloved PILIPINAS. We captured this funny scene between the dad & the bride where dad is pretending to have his emotional moment, kudos to him it looks real.

No car in IOWA

As we are writing this we are still in the dinner party, they have wi-fi access so might better to upload their new SDE video. Overwhelming reaction from people here in IOWA, it is their first time to taste an SDE video and happily it is from MPW group. A bad start for us because we cannot rent a car over here, nothing available because of the holiday season plus the wintry icy weather. Marga & Demian's friends/family are very accomodating to hitch us thru places we need to be and again we gave them a very nice SDE. We never met the couple before, everything is online and yet we are treated here as family, sweeeeet IOWA.

Here is our last eastcoast SDE (we are flying to IOWA after xmas) and we totally love it. A very fun couple, we enjoyed the party as much as how they enjoyed it. We at MPW thank you all for the support and love for 2008, our SDE (same day edit video) was just introduced this year and we got the warmest love given. Chet and Mike thank you plus all your lovely & hottie bridesmaids.

Where is the entourage?
